Church Cave in Sequoia-Kings Canyon: great hike and adventure in the cave. We were able to get access to the circuit route and spend a few hours playing underground. Then followed it with a cool jump in the river. Aria hurt her foot and we carried her all the way out of the canyon.

Thanks for the memories. I went thru part of Church Cave with some UCLA mountaineers about 1963. It was Easter week, had to hike in 3.5 miles cause the gate was across the road from a bit of snow. Hiked up the side of the mountain and into the cave about midnight; came out the next morning. Definitely a unique experience!
